Nathan Mulford was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where he currently resides with his wife and two children. Growing up he spent a lot of time outdoors. In school, he spent more time drawing than focusing on his class work. Nathan attended the University of Utah where he studied painting, drawing and graphic design. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Nathan's paintings reflect the environment he grew up in. He finds inspiration for his work in desert landscape and historical artifacts.
